Owen also starred in “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” which made over $215 million but missed its break-even goal due to its $180 million budget. His last high-profile release was “Gemini Man” starring Will Smith, which grossed a disappointing $166.5 million on a budget of $140 million. The actor hasn’t made a profitable film since 2006’s “Inside Man.”
