What Marvel’s Miek Looks Like In Real Life

Stephen Murdoch might not be a household name, but he’s appeared in several big-name movies as a stunt performer. His extensive stunts resume includes “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Alien: Covenant,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” The Invisible Man,” “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” “Uncharted” and “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.” He also appeared in the DC Extended Universe in “Aquaman” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the most recent “Thor” movies. Outside of film and television, he provides motion capture in video games, including “Injustice 2” and “Mortal Kombat 12.” Murdoch, who has dabbled in minor roles in acting, will next be appearing as Desmond Chiam’s stunt double in “Mortal Kombat 2.”

Carly Rees also has an impressive career as a stunt performer. Her credits include a few MCU projects, including “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Thor: Love and Thunder,” and “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” Additionally, Rees has worked on “Dora and the Lost City of Gold,” “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” and the Amazon television series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.” Rees has appeared in a few acting roles besides Miek, including her role as Mace in “The Bureau of Magical Things.”

While little information about Murdoch or Rees outside their stunt roles is available, you’ve almost certainly seen their work in movies before.
