“Killers of the Flower Moon” is set to stream through Apple TV+, though there’s no word as to when the film will appear on the platform. This is no big surprise, as Apple Studios co-produced and distributed the film with an assist from Paramount Pictures. In 2022, Paramount announced it would distribute all of their first-run theatrical releases directly to their on-demand platform. The deal isn’t set to go into effect until 2024, and most releases are set to hit the streamer within 45 days of their theatrical bow. While Apple TV+ and Paramount+ are working on a possible deal to bundle their services, that currently leaves co-productions like “Killers of the Flower Moon” in a lurch with no clear streaming release window to follow.
“Killers of the Flower Moon” is still playing in theaters worldwide for those who can’t wait for it to reach digital platforms and aren’t in the mood to pay extra to own it. But it’s a must-see event for those looking to add a bit of weighty drama to the early Christmas season.
