To its credit, “Alien” director Ridley Scott has already seen the upcoming Alien film and gave it his seal of approval. Speaking with Guillermo del Toro at the DGA Latino Summit in 2023, Álvarez recalled his relief after hearing that Scott dug his vision. “He walks into the room and he did say, ‘Fede, what can I say? It’s f*****g great.'”
